About Bloxorz
Bloxorz is a puzzle that looks like a toy. You have a rectangular block, two tiles long, and a hole exactly one tile wide — so the block only falls in standing up. Everything else on the board (switches, bridges, orange tiles that give way under the block's weight) exists to make standing up in the right square hard.
It is a thinking game on a site full of reflex games, and it is the one to open when you want to be slow on purpose.
How to Play Bloxorz
- Roll the block with the arrow keys; it tips end over end.
- Get it standing upright over the square hole to finish the stage.
- Stand on a heavy switch to open a bridge; cross it before it closes.
- Keep off the orange tiles while standing upright — they break.
Controls
- Arrow keys: roll the block.
- R: restart the stage.
- Stage codes let you jump back to a level you reached before.
Tips and Tricks
- Count squares before you move. A block lying down covers two, standing covers one.
- Rolling four times around a square brings the block back where it started — useful for repositioning.
- Write down the stage code. It is the only save.
- When a bridge closes too fast, you crossed it from the wrong side.
