About Jetpack Joyride
Jetpack Joyride is Halfbrick's classic. Barry Steakfries steals a jetpack and flies through an endless laboratory, dodging electric zappers, lasers and missiles while collecting coins and jumping into vehicles: a giant mech, a dragon, a motorbike. Missions give you things to aim for, coins buy gadgets and outfits, and every run ends the same way, spectacularly.
The browser version keeps the missions, the shop and the vehicles.
How to Play Jetpack Joyride
- Press to start the run.
- Hold to fly up, release to fall.
- Dodge the zappers, lasers and missiles; grab the vehicles when they appear.
- Complete missions and spend coins in the shop.

- Space, click or tap: hold to fly, release to fall.
- Vehicles use the same one control.
- Touch: tap and hold.
Tips and Tricks
- Stay in the middle of the screen so you can dodge up or down.
- Missiles are telegraphed by a warning; move away from the marker.
- Vehicles are a free shield; take them when they come.
- Missions are the real progression. Read them before each run.
