Skeletal Shenanigans explained: the Medium Demon event level YoReid and Airz published in May 2025, the skeleton boss fight, both user coins, and how to get the level.
Read this first
Skeletal Shenanigans is a level inside Geometry Dash, not a separate game. There is no browser version of it and there is not going to be one — it is an official Event level, it lives on RobTop's servers, and it needs Geometry Dash 2.2 to run. Every site offering "Skeletal Shenanigans unblocked" is serving you something else. The player at the top of this page is the browser Geometry Dash this site hosts; it is here so the page is not a dead end, not because it is the level.
What follows is the actual information: what the level is, who built it, how the boss works, where both coins are, and how to get it.
What it is
Skeletal Shenanigans is a Medium Demon worth ten stars, published by YoReid with Airz on 6 May 2025. It is the fifteenth Event level, made for JamAttack's Jam Gauntlet creator contest, and it runs to Slash Inferno by Teminite, Boom Kitty and Waterflame. Level ID 118509879.
It became the most downloaded and most liked Medium Demon in the game almost immediately, and gameplay clips of it ran up tens of millions of views on YouTube and TikTok — which is why it is the one level from 2025 that people who do not play Geometry Dash have still heard of.
The skeleton
The level's idea is that you are being chased by a giant undead skeleton, and it is not scenery. The boss head launches fireballs from an orange diamond-shaped crystal, and smaller skeletons come at you with swords, magic and arrows. The centrepiece is a ship section flown straight through the boss encounter while it attacks.
Mechanically the fight is a reading problem rather than a timing one: the attacks telegraph, and the section is survivable on sight once you know which tells belong to which attack. The parts that actually end runs are the transitions on either side of it.
Both user coins
- Coin 1 — 25.25%, in the first robot section. Take a full jump onto the first floating block, then three long jumps across.
- Coin 2 — 39.5%, in the first cube section. Jump onto the platforms above the mini-size portal instead of taking the normal route under them.
Both are routed, not hidden: you can see them coming, and the risk is that going for them puts you on a line you have not practised. Get the level down first, then add the coins.
How to get it
- You need the full, paid Geometry Dash on Steam or mobile, updated to 2.2. Lite does not have Event levels.
- Event levels appear in the game's own level section. If the event has rotated on, search the level ID 118509879 in the online browser.
- It cannot be played in a browser, on a school Chromebook, or in any "unblocked" version. That is a limitation of where the level lives, not of any particular site.
What to practise while you wait
If you are here because a clip made you want to try it, the useful preparation is the ship. The boss section is flown, and ship control is the one skill that transfers from anything. The wave trainer and the browser Geometry Dash on this site both drill the hold-and-release input the fight is built on, and the forms guide explains what each portal changes about it.
For the levels you can play right now without buying anything, World, Meltdown and SubZero all run from this domain, and the full version page lays out what the paid release adds if you decide to go and get Skeletal Shenanigans properly.
