Race as Lightning McQueen in this Disney Cars browser game: hit the boosts, take the corners clean and beat the field to the line.
About Cars: Lightning Speed
Cars: Lightning Speed is a short racing game built around Lightning McQueen from the Disney and Pixar Cars films. The pit crew welcomes you to the team, you roll onto the track, and every race is about one thing: crossing the line ahead of everyone else.
It is a light break from the dash games on this site: no one-hit deaths, just racing lines, speed and a few cars to get past.
How to Play Cars: Lightning Speed
- Press the green play button on the start screen.
- Drive through the race, staying on the fastest line.
- Pass the other cars and reach the finish first.
- Go again to improve your place.
Controls
- Arrow keys: steer, accelerate and brake.
- Mouse: menus and buttons.
- Touch: on-screen buttons on phones and tablets.
Tips
- Ease off slightly before tight corners instead of braking in them.
- Save straights for overtaking; corners are where you lose time.
- Stay off the edges of the track, they slow you down.
