Every Geometry Dash Vault Code and How to Reach Each Vault

Geometry Dash hides three secret rooms behind its main menu, each with a keypad and a set of codes. Together they unlock icons, colours, a whole extra Demon level and a chunk of the game's strange lore. Here is how to reach each one and what every code does.
The Vault
How to open it: collect 10 user coins, then tap the padlock in the top-right corner of the settings menu.
The Vault is a plain room with a keypad and a character called The Keymaster who comments on what you type. Codes are not case-sensitive.

The Vault of Secrets
How to open it: reach 200 diamonds, then tap the large gem on the level-select screen next to the Treasure Room.
This is the important one, because it holds the code for an entire extra level.

The Challenge is a short level with a genuinely awkward ship section, and beating it rewards a key that opens the Treasure Room chests faster.
The Basement
How to open it: collect 50 demon keys, then find the door under the Vault of Secrets.
The Basement holds the Scratch character — a merchant who sells icons for diamonds rather than taking codes — and the game's largest single chunk of lore. Fifty demon keys is a long grind, which is the point.
Where the codes do not work
None of this exists in Geometry Dash Lite, and none of it exists in the browser ports either. The vaults are part of the paid game's progression system — they need the account, the diamonds and the demon keys, and Lite has none of those. If you have typed a vault code into a browser version and nothing happened, that is why, not a typo.
The spin-offs are the same story. Meltdown and SubZero both have their own small unlock sets tied to finishing their levels, but no vaults and no keypads.
A note on "secret" codes you will find elsewhere
There is a healthy supply of made-up vault codes on video sites, usually promising free demon keys or an unlocked editor. There is no code that does either. The full list of real codes is short, it is above, and it has not changed much in years. Anything that asks you to install something first is not a code, it is the usual thing wearing a code's clothes.
What is actually worth going for
If you only chase one thing, make it thechallenge in the Vault of Secrets. It is a real level rather than a cosmetic, it is short, and 200 diamonds is reachable in a week of normal play through daily levels and chests. The Basement is for people who have already decided Geometry Dash is their game.
